Things You Need To Know

Your browsing history, cookies and form data are NEVER saved

Your bookmark and image stashes are safe - they're not accessible until you input your password

Any images you save are encoded so that only Frost can view them, other apps will not be able to see them

Uninstalling the app will permanently clear your stash. The FAQ contains info on how to backup and restore your stash in case you need to uninstall.

Shortcuts

Pressing the Home or Power button at any time will exit the application, clear your history and hide whatever you were doing

Pressing Back will take you to the previous web page, or previous window

Double tapping the back button when there are no more pages to navigate back to will close the current tab

Accessing Your Stash

Input your password into the browser's address bar to unlock your stashes

You should now see two new items, the bookmark and image stash, in the browser menu

Changing Your Password

Login with your current password. Then open the settings menu and select the "Change Password" option. A password change prompt will then appear.

Bookmark Stash

Stores private bookmarks. Accessible from the browser menu once you've inputted your password.

Select a bookmark to open it in the browser

To delete or edit a bookmark, touch and hold it until the menu appears

Saving Images

To save an image from the web into your image stash, make sure you've inputted your password, then hold down on an image you want to save

The image will now be available in the default download folder in your image stash.

TIP: If an image links to a larger image, selecting "Save Link to Image Stash" will save the larger image to your stash without needing to open it in the browser.

The Image Stash

The image stash is divided into folders. The globe icon next to a folder means that it is your default download folder. Any images you save will be placed into that folder

Touch and hold on a folder to delete, rename, or set as default download folder

Use the action bar to start a Slideshow of all images, Import Images from your SD card, create a New Folder, or change Preferences

The Image Gallery

Tapping a folder will open the image gallery, displaying all images inside the folder

To view an image, simply tap it

Delete, Export or Organize Your Images

To manage your images, touch and hold an image until the action menu appears. Tap an image to select/deselect it, or use the Select menu

Use the action bar to:
Move selected images to a different folder
Delete selected images from the stash
Export selected images as a JPG to your SD card

Press back at any time to return to the normal image gallery view

Viewing Your Images

Tapping a picture in the image gallery will open the image viewer

Pinch you fingers to zoom in/out

Double tap to fit the image to screen width/height

When the image is fully zoomed out, swipe the screen right/left to goto the next/previous image

Tap the image once to open the action bar.
Rotate the image permanently
Delete the image from your stash
Toggle Zoom buttons in the bottom right of the image
Slideshow of all images in the current folder

Importing Images

You can import JPG or PNG images into your image stash. Select the option to import from SD in the image stash, then follow the instructions on the screen.

TIP: You can copy folders containing images into the import folder on your device. Frost will then automatically create a folder in your image stash with the same name, and import all the images inside of it into the same folder in your stash.

For example: If you put an image file on your device at /Android/data/com.crowbar.beaverlite/import/Kittens/kitty1.jpg Then frost will automatically create a folder called "Kittens" in your stash and import kitty1.jpg into that stash folder
